The Blackberry Storm 2 is a vast improvement to the first Blackberry Storm. The Blackberry Storm 2 measures in at just over 11.5 cm tall, 6.2cm wide and 1.4 cm in thickness. Weight wise this handset with the battery installed is at 160 grams which is slightly more then it predecessor which was 155 grams.

The screen is its main feature; apart from the first Blackberry Storm this is the 2nd one to have just the touch screen. It’s a 3.25 inch touch screen measuring 480 x 360 pixels supporting over 65000 colours.

Now as with many high end smart phones many come with a forward facing camera on front near the speaker grill, but not the Blackberry Storm 2. Its only camera is on its back. It’s a 3.2 mega pixel camera with the standard auto focus feature, 2 x digital zoom and image stabilisation feature for those shaking hands after a few drinks.

The battery life on Blackberry Storm 2 provides roughly around 5 hrs (GSM) talk time and 300 hrs (GSM) when on standby. This is pretty decent of a Blackberry device considering the big bright touch screen and the usage of having to enter text through the on screen keyboard.

On board is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with built in GPS and the all important Blackberry Maps to work along side with. This truly is a magnificent touch screen smart phone. Its one smart phone that should be able to stand its ground against rivals such as the Nokia N900 and the iPhone.
