Cloudcitysites has announced that they will move their eBay affiliate solution out of beta on 9th April and will shortly thereafter make products available from the Commission Junction affiliate network.

Cloudcitysites offer a free easy website builder tool with free hosting to Affiliate Marketers keen to grab a share of commissions and advertiser revenues offered by merchants to attract visitors .. and ultimately customers to their merchant sites.

Membership to Cloudcitysites is not restricted by geographic location and the .net top level domain is agnostic to country targetting, meaning that Google will not penalise country based searches on grounds of the domain being a .de, .co.uk or any other country specific domain. In fact, Geo-targetting ads and affiliate product offerings is one of the features being actively considered for future inclusion, allowing affiliates to reach other countries that they might not previously have considered.

The Cloudcitysites model uses an interesting approach by pooling affiliate resources under one Cloudcitysites affiliation to the merchant programmes (like cashback sites) but records the source of the clicks to generate the payouts to members.

These pooling arrangements will empower Cloudcitysites to negotiate preferential merchant terms beyond those that individual affiliates might negotiate. An extra benefit for affiliates will be a gain from the preferential sales tier terms already in situ for bulk monthly sales or click activity, but not always reachable as individuals.

New signups to Cloudcitysites can further benefit by signing up new members to the Cloudcitysites programme. Cloudcitysites has indicated that they will pay 10% of recruits earnings to the recruiting member.
