Go Go Pets (now rebranded as Zhu Zhu Pets) were a 2009 Christmas phenomenon with the original Hamster range and Cepia LLC (the manufacturer) struggled to meet demand, signing new contracts with additional factories to try and match retailer expectations..

Cepia LLC promised that there was more to come and have now announced that they will be extending the range considerably during 2010 to appeal to existing and potential new customers.

Zhu Zhu Rock Stars are one just such extension to the Zhu Zhu Pets range.

Due to arrive in the UK in the middle of 2010, Kingston, Pax, Roxie and Ryder are the longhaired rockers with just a touch of punk about them with their mohican hairstyles.

Designed to be different from the mainstream hamsters, there is no doubt that the new rockers are a little more edgy than the cutesy hamsters that appeared during 2009 and took the world by storm, causing entepeneurial trading at several times the list prices.

Are we in for another rocky ride in 2010? It appears ever likely that the Zhu Zhu Pets range will retain a top position in the Christmas Dream Toys list once more in 2010 and vertain of the styles could once again be in insatiable demand.
