Market leaders UK Outdoor Adventure (UKOA) have today announced the official launch of their new website, www.ukoutdooradventure.com, the site is packed with more outdoor activities and UK challenges than ever before, so there is sure to be something to suit everybody’s needs.
With another festive season behind us the new site was launched on Saturday 8 Jan 2011. Managing Director Chris Bate says "This is an exciting new web site with more outdoor activites and challenges than ever before. We have our old favourites such as the National 3 peaks challenge, the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge and the Welsh 3000, but we have permanently introduced an event that was very popular last year the Caledonian Canal or Great Glen Challenge". Uptake and participation in charity abseils is looking to increase this year with bookings starting to flood in, helping recession strapped charities to raise much needed money.
The navigation pages are still packed with opportunities, from the Discover Navigation Course to the Skilled Navigator Course and all the National Navigation Awards Scheme (NNAS) levels in between. Rescue Emergency Care (REC) first aid courses are the back bone of the outdoor industry and UK Outdoor Adventure still provides all levels of the REC syllabus.
There is one brand new innovation within the site ‘The Enviro Diary’ this feature records the very best of the flora, fauna, birds and animals that the UKOA Instructors see when they are out and about on the hills, rivers, gorges, crags and seas of this amazing island that we live on, a true gem for the lover of the outdoors.
The website was designed and developed by Liverpool based web company Codiga (www.codiga.co.uk) who have put in a sterling effort to get the site ready on time.
UK Outdoor Adventure Ltd are based out of Chester in the North West of England, but provide activities nationwide. The brain child of an avid adventurer, UKOA is online to provide outdoor activities, first aid and navigation courses, adventure challenges and much more to those looking to maximize their time in the great outdoors.
