Portugal has some excellent white wines from the north of the region. They are crisp light winds that make for easy drinking. Bill will go excellently with an oily fish such as perhaps a sardine!

Touriga Nacional is probably the best known red wine and it's great. In the north of Portugal will find their port wine growing area. This area also now gives us great red wines.

As well as red and white, they produce Rosé  wines of which Matias is probably the best-known.
Portugal is well-known for its port. This is just wine that has been fortified with brandy. There are several different types of port, ranging from light and fruity to a more deep flavoured port.
