Mobile manufacturers are now very well aware that there is a craze for small handsets among the mobile users. And HTC has introduced HTC HD Mini in order to compete with other brands.

This mobile phone is an upgraded version of the previously launched HD2 that has a large touchscreen measuring 4.3 inches. But the HTC Mini has a 3.2 inches display screen which is acceptable by most of the users. Except this feature, other original ones are kept same in this device.

Few impressive features of HTC HD Mini are – HTC Sense user interface, GPS with digital compass, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6.5 version and a powerful 5 mega pixel camera along with the advanced technology of autofocus. After a good evaluation, the manufacturers have decided that the best possible size of a touchscreen could be between 3 to 3.2 inches. And the providers have already produced products with this type of screens. For example, few handsets that are focusing on this agenda are – Sony Ericsson Vivaz, LG Pop, Nokia X6, Samsung Monte, Nokia N87 Mini and Samsung Wave.

HTC has released more handsets as compared to other brands recently. Along with HTC HD Mini, it has launched HTC Desire and HTC Legend. And both these phones are operating on Android system. The model which is close to the HD Mini is Legend due to its 3.2 inches screen and 5 mega pixel inbuilt camera.

The HTC HD Mini is now available on the Orange network, but through a third party pay monthly deals. It has been done after the release of SIM Free and Unlocked handset deals. And soon, other networks will come up something similar to that.
