The holiday industry is in for a good year in 2010, or at least that's the view from FlexHolidays.co.uk who today (1st Feb 2010) released a report showing that searches and bookings have made an impressive comeback compared to 2009.

"2009 was a tough year for many holiday companies" says Flex Holidays MD, Rob Barham. "We saw the demise of quite a few airlines and holiday companies in 2009 as a continuation of the trend for lower revenue and higher revenues in 2008" he continues. "Based on January 2010 web traffic and bookings though, the travel industry is in for a bumper year in 2010. So long as the tour operators and airlines don't do anything crazy with their capacity it all look rosy!"
