Men's underwear website Deadgoodundies.com has been shortlisted for a 2011 Drapers Etail Award. Created by fashion trade magazine Drapers Record, the awards are now in their third year and have grown considerably in 2010 to include new categories and attract more applicants.
Adam Davies, founder of Deadgoodundies.com is delighted the website has made it so far in the competition: “Drapers received a record number of entries this year so we are very proud to have made it into the final for the Best Specialist Etailer category. DGU has had a great 2010 and this industry recognition is a perfect way to end such a fantastic year.”
Launched in 2007 by website and undies expert Adam and his partner Jane Garner, a fashion journalist, Deadgoodundies is dedicated to providing men with the very best designer underwear and swimwear from all around the world.
The partners original website Justhom.com honed their skills before they decided there was a much bigger market available to them.
“It soon became apparent that the underwear styles men purchased online differed vastly from those bought from the high street. The online environment leaves men free to browse a huge array of styles and designs, often opting for more daring cuts and fabrics than they would in a more public arena,” says Adam.
From their headquarters in Shrewsbury, Deadgoodundies.com has gained a reputation for not just always having a fantastic selection of brands and styles available, but also speedy deliveries, impeccable customer service and a willingness to provide expert advice to customers and industry colleagues alike.
The current line up of brands on the site includes favourites from well known brands HOM, Sloggi and Jockey, as well as an impressive selection from international designers such as Bruno Banani, Ergowear, Obviously For Men, Equmen, Clever Moda, Gia, Gigo, Mundo Unico, Pikante, Doreanse, Gregg Homme, Joe Snyder, L'Homme Invisible, MANstore, Olaf Benz and more.
The Drapers Etail Awards Ceremony will take place in London on 27 January 2011 with winners announced on the night.
