On 29 May, the president Pratibha Patil’s had the flight to china and Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimunha-medov’s has the flight to Agra from Delhi airport. Due to security reasons, at the departures of president flights, 11 flights coming to Delhi were prohibited and diverted to different states as Lucknow, Jaipur, and Chandigarh and 20 other kept encircling above Delhi airport until the VIP movement.
Among different 11 flights, three flights have reportedly landed in Jaipur after being diverted from the Delhi airport to Jaipur airport. The three flights were Jetlite flight JLL 108 from Mumbai, Kingfisher flight IT 300 from Mumbai, and Jet airways flight 9W 2357 from Chennai having around 500 passengers on board. These three flights landed with almost the empty fuel tank on Wednesday. When the Jetlite flight landed in Jaipur airport, it reports that it had just enough fuel which can only fly for maximum 3 more minutes and if the flight was diverted to any other place then an accident could take place. The other two flights had also less fuel which could only fly for 10 to 13 minutes. Thanks the pilots to reach the destination places in the right time otherwise the day for travelers and their relatives may change from white to a very black day.
The pilots were very tensioned when the flight was diverted to Jaipur airport and when the plane started queuing Jaipur airport as the weather condition was also not favorable and radars to monitor flight was also absent. But lastly the flight successfully landed and pilots have filed flight safety reports to the Director General of Civil aviation (DGCA) with the information about such a critical situation. The flights are supposed to take much fuel to meet any emergency situation and to get out of any situation because any harm to anyone. It is important to full the fuel tank more than enough to get rid of such a situation.
