CompareFlights.co.uk, a flight comparison website aimed at UK travellers has been made available for sale. The website which has been in existence since 2007 and was redesigned in 2010 is expected to be sold via an auction as there has been interest from a wide range of potential buyers including affiliate marketing experts, domainers and established flight meta search engines.

The website earns a revenue from sending traffic and generating booking for airlines and travel agencies including British Airways, ebookers.com, lastminute.com, Virgin Atlantic and many others. "The beauty of the airline / flights market, is that it converts close to 100% online" said a spokesperson for CompareFlights.co.uk today. The site currently works with partners such as skyscanner.net, cheapflights.co.uk, liligo.co.uk to provide visitors the widest possible choice of booking options.

More recently CompareFlights.co.uk has added "meta-search" for hotels through a partnership with sletoh.com and also a price comparison search for beach holidays which includes packages from Monarch, Thomas Cook, OnTheBeach and other holiday companies.
