Eclipse Magnetics have enhanced their range of magnetic lifters with the launch of a new Electro-Permanent Lifting Magnet.
The product recently featured on the Channel Five’s Gadget Show in helping to set a Guinness World Record for the Heaviest Machine Moved using Brain Control Interface , lifting a car over a distance of 40 metres.
The new Magnetic Lifter is designed to increase productivity offering more efficient lifting than traditional lifting systems for steel blocks , round bar or thick steel plate. Lifting up to 3000kg the new product can be used with ease by one operator.
The Lifter uses battery power to trigger a permanent magnet. This ‘failsafe’ design ensures that the load is held securely even if there is a break in power supply. The Eclipse lifter also features a removable battery which minimises downtime, as the lifter can continue to be used whilst one battery is being charged.
The new lifter complements Eclipse’s Ultralift range of permanent magnetic lifters.
