London, ECT (European Computer Telecoms AG), leading provider of voice and multimedia value-added services, and TEN, the Telecommunications Executive Network, invite twelve key players in the British telecommunications market to a bespoke dinner debate. On November 24th, these experts discuss the benefits of network-based solutions for fixed-mobile convergence at the Hibiscus Restaurant in London.

For the third time in 2010, ECT along with TEN will bring together some of the industry’s most influential movers and shakers for an evening dinner and discussion, at one of London’s most prestigious Michelin starred restaurants, the Hibiscus, to debate the future of convergent solutions.

Topics up for discussion are whether PBX solutions for small and medium enterprises are destined to become fully network-based; how operators can help business customers with flexible technological solutions and the future role of mobile operators in network-based services arena.

“The dinner debate is the perfect opportunity to exchange opinions with eminent industry leaders. The debates we had at past events have been fruitful and highly enjoyable for everyone involved,” comments Francine Kavesh, Managing Director of European Computer Telecoms Ltd. “This dinner’s topic is prescient as the movement to more cloud based solutions gains momentum for the SME and Enterprise markets. I believe that the future of PBX solutions is one such cloud solution and that scramble for market share is now on.”

ECT’s comprehensive virtual PBX services already provide a feasible alternative to premise-based PBX equipment without a compromise on features. They reduce telephony costs for small and medium-sized companies and provide a gain in flexibility and ease of use.
