Car Arena – the brain child of Phil Wilkinson (Managing Director of Motor Depot, Best Car Buyer, Trade-Ins, All Brands New and Interest Free for Cars), has been in development for almost two years. Various iterations were tested, rejected, amended and retested before the low profile launch 8 weeks ago.
Car Arena is planning for growth over the next twelve months, having been launched only 8 weeks ago after almost two years in development and various trials, updates, failures and more tests they have launched quietly, to slowly build the Car Dealer/Motor Trader/Car Buyer database and ensure there are enough cars on the site for the buyers to purchase.
Taking the one step at a time approach is paying dividends for Car Arena, already buyers using the site are making in excess of 300 offers a day. Car Arena’s ever expanding list of motor dealers, car buyers and motor traders, all looking for used cars of various ages, makes and models ensures there is almost always someone looking for the car the public are trying to sell. This careful approach ensures that there are always enough cars on the site for the buyers to purchase but not too many so that the sellers don’t have a chance to sell their car.
This service is completely free to the general public, it really is a “you have nothing to lose” scenario. It only takes a minute to place your car on the Car Arena web site including the option to upload photos and wait for the offers to arrive. These will at first arrive by email via the Car Arena system. Any offers can be accepted, marked as undecided or declined. If marked as declined a figure can be sent to the potential buyers informing them what price the seller would be prepared to accept for their car.
The seller negotiates with the buyers directly to finalise the price, final inspection, collection or drop off and of course the payment method.
Because the public are likely to receive multiple offers for their cars, especially if it is a desirable make and model, they will be able to gauge what is a fair and accurate price for their car within the motor industry.
Location doesn’t matter either, many of the Car Arena registered buyers travel across the country buying the cars that are right for their business or if the buyer is local to the seller, the cars can be dropped off at their dealership.
Car dealers, motor traders and car buyers have to buy vehicles from various sources; using Car Arena brings a huge amount of vehicles directly to their desktop, by being able to view the critical details on the vehicles enables the buyers to make accurate offers on them and complete transactions quickly and easily. As well as providing direct access to hundreds of vehicles daily, traders are free to list their stock vehicles for fellow traders to make offers on.
With many exiting additions to Car Arena still in development the site is sure to grow over the next 12 months and become one of the country’s most recognised vehicle web site brands.
