Bluray players are still pretty expensive and not yet mainstream, so many people opt to purchase their movies in the traditional DVD format. But is that a short-sighted approach?

The DVD market is changing considerable and is adapting to accommodate the fact that we wish to view our movies in a variety of formats ... we may have a Bluray in the lounge, a DVD player in the bedroom and a personal digital video playe for viewing on the move.
