WXtrips are a series of annual international adventure challenges designed especially for women with a passion for adventure. The trips are designed with the aim of bringing people, religions, cultures and common interests together, against the backdrop of some of the world’s most exotic and remote destinations.

The WXtrip Women Adventure Challenge creates once in a lifetime experience, where teams of women participate in a combination of active challenges including; off-road driving, trekking and interacting with local cultures, all whilst engaging in responsible eco-tourism and uplifting local communities. Each WXtrip comprises a group of women from all over the world, made up of 4-member teams, who compete in the journey that transcends physical, geographical, personal and cultural borders.

The international challenge will take place on the 1^st October 2010, where women from around the world will team up to take on the Nepal Annapurna Range in the Kingdom of Nepal situated in the Himalayas, below the highest mountain peaks in the world. The women will travel 1 285 kilometers on and off road trails, climb high mountains, cross roaring rivers and experience the majestic culture of the Nepal people. They will journey to places once reachable only on foot, visit ancient cities, white-water raft, drive through snow-capped mountains and trek up mountains through picturesque villages.

The WXtrip is not a race against time and the winning team will be chosen by all participants based on task completion, interaction, team and personal contributions to the overall success of the adventure challenge and the winning team from the first international challenge will be invited as mentors on the WXtrip 2011 challenge.
