Accuvision Laser Eye Clinics has invested £500,000 in an advertising campaign which will launch in Vue cinemas on 19th November.
Created by Mirabelle Communications and produced by ABF Pictures, the ad entitled ‘Love at First Sight’ is a two minutes of branded entertainment positioned as a ‘mini’ movie event in itself. It’s about a woman who is seeing the world in a whole new way - literally; she’s just had laser eye surgery. This new perspective on life triggers her to do something that she’s never done before…
Accuvision is supporting the campaign with print ads and a social media drive run by Green Row Communications which rewards customers who review the ad online with the chance to win laser eye surgery. A supporting sub-site has been developed at www.accuvision.co.uk/cinema to enhance the digital campaign.
Writer and Creative Director, Danny Brainin, says: “The latest Accuvision ad has been devised to appeal to the romantic inside us all by illuminating what can happen when a person changes their perspective on life. We were looking to create a strong piece of branded entertainment that would help us engage with the target Accuvision consumer, who prefers a subtler marketing approach. This is an ad wrapped up inside an entertaining short film, which we believe will make Accuvision’s message resonate with the target market.”
