The HTC Corporation has announced it will release the new HTC Wildfire mobile phone in June. It will be released in Europe. Carriers will include T-Mobile UK and Virgin Mobile UK.

The new phone will offer a touchscreen along with a 5-megapixel camera. The mobile has a weight of 4.16 ounces. It will offer full flash support. It comes in a variety of colors including black, brown, white, and red. It also has a very attractive look to it.

The HTC Wildfire supports multi-touch inputs. All of the controls offer multi-touch inputs. All the controls are touch sensitive. The amazing camera offers a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixesl. Aside from this it offers an LED flash, smile detection, autofocus, video recording, and geo-tagging.

Another attractive feature from the Wildfire is that it has an audio player. This is capable of playing MP3/ACC+WAV/WMA9 files as well as a video player. Third party applications can also be installed including phone supports. The HTC Wildfire also includes a digital compass, google maps, social networking, Gmail, youtube, Google Talk, as well as Picasa integration. As if that is not enough the Wildfire also supports web browsing and FM radio.

The battery has an amazing standby time of up to 480 hours. It has 690 hours of 3G and talk time of 440 minutes on the 2G and 490 minutes on the 3G. HTC can presently offer a high end or a low end to the consumer when it comes to volume. HTC is already becoming one of the leading players. The Taiwanese handset maker believes this latest Wildfire technology will put them in the lead with all of their competitors. HTC is focusing their new release on social-networking play as well as the young mobile user.

The Wildfire calls their social networking availability the 'Friend Stream' application. This allows for the gathering and displaying of content from the social networks while organizing them into a sophisticated single stream. This will allow the new users to post, comment, offer alerts and photos from friends. HTC believes the Wildfire will do well for the company. The company already offers products in the high end including the EVO-4G. The Wildfire will offer a price at the lower end thereby leveraging HTC across that price. HTC said there research has found that people are hungry for the latest and most popular applications - and they intend to meet those needs.
